An afternoon fire damages a LaPrarie Township home over the weekend.
The Janesville Fire Department says firefighters were dispatched to a single family home on the 5500 block of East Maple Lane Road shortly before 1:00 Saturday afternoon.
First responders found light smoke and fire in the ceiling and in a wall behind a wood burning stove.
The fire was extinguished with less than 200 gallons of water and damage was isolated to an addition.
Total damage is estimated at about $11,000.
