When it comes to the School District of Janesville’s yearly calendar, parents and teachers spoke, and district officials listened.
The Board of Education is scheduled to consider approval of the school calendar for the next two years (Tuesday) evening.
Some of the highlights include all day staff development days once a quarter instead of half days once a month, a day off the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and conferences in both the spring and fall.
The School’s calendars are based on a survey that received 1,675 responses from parents and 541 responses from staff members.
