The Janesville Area Convention & Visitors Bureau in partnership with the Janesville Jets are inviting residents to drop off new or gently used coats, sweaters, hats, mittens and other warm clothing items, at the Janesville Ice Arena during regular business hours, as part of the Wisconsin Department of Tourism’s “The Big Bundle Up” campaign. The Big Bundle Up is a statewide collection program running through January 2, 2017.
To benefit the Big Bundle Up Campaign, the Janesville Jets are hosting a Coat Drive on Friday, December 9 for their game versus the Minnesota Magicians. All fans who bring in new or gently used winter clothing will receive $1 off their ticket. For more info visit www.janesvillejets.com.
This is the sixth year of the Big Bundle Up. To date, the program has collected more than 71,800 winter items to help families in need. With the spirit of the holiday season upon us, donating winter items is the perfect way to give to families in need across the state. A box will be located in JACVB business office for donors to drop off warm clothing items.
