SHINE Medical Technologies gets a ten-million dollar federal grant.  Company officials say it’ll be a major boost to plans to break ground in Janesville early next year.  SHINE officials learned last week of the award through the National Nuclear Security Administration.  The award is part of a federal program intended to encourage private, domestic production of medical radioisotopes.   Through an agreement, SHINE is expected to match the grant dollar for dollar.  SHINE has federal nuclear permits to begin building a 50-thousand square-foot, $100-million production facility on Janesville’s south end.
