Chicago native, and current Janesville resident Mario Bullock wants to help local police connect with neighborhoods like the one he grew up in. Bullock says officers in his childhood neighborhood walked the beat and new all the residents. He says the effort helped people stay safe. Now Bullock is helping Officer Brad Rau re-establish the African American Liaison Advisory Committee in Janesville. Rau tells Your Talk Show on WCLO the committee is recruiting members and should have its first meeting within the month.
