3rd annual Beloit Dirty Dash is August 19th

Beloit Leisure Services is proudly announcing the details of the 3rd Annual Beloit Dirty Dash.

The Beloit Dirty Dash for Kids will take place on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Big Hill Park (2101 Big Hill Road, Beloit, WI 53511). Pre-registration is encouraged in person, by mail or online. Same day registration will begin at 7:30 am.

The event will begin at 9:00 am for ages 4 to 6 (Bunny Loop) with a ½ mile loop (including obstacles). Ages 7 to 9 will begin at 9:45 am (Cotton Trail) with nearly a mile (including obstacles). Ages 10 to 13 will begin at 10:30 am (Hare Rush) with roughly a mile and a half loop (including obstacles). Ages 14 to 18 will begin at 11:15 am (Jackrabbit Track) with roughly a 2 mile loop (including obstacles).

All groups are guaranteed to encounter mud pits, nature trails and are guaranteed to get dirty! Costumes and groups are encouraged! The Dirty Dash will be held rain or shine! Wear comfortable clothing and shoes you won’t mind getting dirty. Rinse station available.

Each participant receives a Dirty Dash t-shirt, adventure bandana, one free concession coupon for a brat or hot dog, a free paddle boat ride at Riverside Park, and a Beloit Snapper’s general admission ticket.

The Dirty Dash will have a severe weather date of Sunday, August 20. There will be no refunds if severe weather persists and event must be cancelled.

Entry fee: Prior to July 31 for $25.00; and August 1 to 19 for $30.00.
