Edgerton police are investigating an armed robbery. Police report investigating a report of kids running through backyards Tuesday night about 11:00 o’clock when a officer found a cell phone. That helped identify three male individuals who apparently met an unknown female for a drug transaction. Officers say the female parked in the area of Sterling Drive between Dorow Avenue and Dakota street, when four other males with guns confronted the first three. The female and the assailants took off together in a car. Police don’t believe this is a random act, and are looking for any information from the public.
