Town of Beloit residents are being asked to weigh in on a list of finalists for a new name. Town Administrator Ian Haas says the four names being considered, if the town incorporates into a village, are Village of River Oaks, Village of Turner, Village of Beloit, and Village of Riverside. The new survey can be found on the town, fire department, and police department Facebook pages. The voluntary survey will be taken until December 1st, and the results will be given the town board for a final decision. Haas expects the petition for application of incorporation to be filed in Rock County Court as early as next month.
