A new home could be in the making for the Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin. Executive Director Brett Frazier says a facility needs analysis last year showed the current facility woefully inadequate. Frazier says the Humane Society is ready to invest in a 45-acre parcel of land on County G between Janesville and Beloit, but the timing for building a new shelter will depend on a capital campaign. The cost for a new shelter could total $4.5 million.
