No more water bills in Janesville. City Clerk-Treasurer Dave Godek says they’ll now be known as Janesville Municipal Utilities Bills and include past water usage. Godek says one reason for the name change is to reflect the different services the bills help fund including fire protection, sanitation, storm water, wastewater, and of course water. He also says water usage is the only thing on the bill customers have control.
