Crews this afternoon closed the right lane of northbound I-39/90, south of Avalon Road in Janesville, Rock County. The closure is due to erosion caused by recent rain events. Traffic delays are anticipated due to the closure.
Motorists are encouraged use the alternate Interstate route for this area:
- Exit the northbound Interstate at Rocky County S/Shopiere Road (Exit 183)
- Proceed west to County BT
- Turn right (north) and follow BT to County G (north).
- Follow the alternate route signs to WIS 11/Avalon Road, near Janesville
