The HealthNet board of directors is moving forward with plans to expand the free clinic’s mental health services. Executive Director Ian Hedges says awareness is growing about the need to deal with this issues. He says it’s not a problem we can arrest our way out of. Hedges says the number one cause of hospitalizations in Rock County is for mental health or psychiatric reasons. He says they’ll keep the community informed as plans develop.
