A citizen group opposed to the removal of the Monterey Dam in Janesville have agreed to dismiss a lawsuit filed in Rock County Court.
Monterey Dam Association Board Chairman Jim Chesmore says the lawsuit became a bit of moot point considering the dam is already gone.
The Monterey Dam Association maintains that the City didn’t remove the dam according to the plans presented to citizens.
While the group remains against the dam removal, Chesmore was unsure of the group’s next step.
