A deputy with the Rock County Sheriff’s office is arrested on domestic violence charges.

26-year-old Keegan Kelly was taken into custody Wednesday and placed on administrative leave.

He had his weapons confiscated and was relieved of all police authority pending the outcome of the investigations.

According to a news release, a female companion of Kelly’s contacted the Lake Delton police on Tuesday, which led to his arrest.

He faces charges of domestic violence/disorderly conduct in Rock County and charges of domestic violence strangulation, battery and disorderly conduct in Sauk County, where he is being held initially.
