A member of Janesville’s Fire Department suggests we do what we can to affect change locally, as a way to impact the world we live. Firefighter’s Union and Charity Board member Tyler Maechtle offered a message of unity during ceremonies Wednesday morning to remember the victims of the 9-11 attacks on the World Trade Center in New York 18-years-ago. Dozens, mostly first responders, joined together in Firehouse Park for the moment of silence.
