Clinton police are investigating a home invasion. Chief David Hooker says officers were called to the trailer park on Milwaukee Street about 2:30 Monday afternoon. He says a male subject was found with stab wounds to the hand and leg, and reported being struck in the head with a gun. The victim told police two men wearing masks had forced their way into his home. He says they ordered him to the ground and a struggle ensued. The victim was taken to the hospital and held for observation overnight. Hooker is calling this an isolated incident and says the public is likely not in any danger.
