A 38-year-old Evansville man is arrested for srunken driving for the 7th time after being accused of causing a crash in Janesville..
Janesville Police say at about 5:45 Sunday evening the Janesville Police Department responded to a crash at West Court Street and Austin Road.
Investigation determined that a southbound vehicle, driven by Curt L. Baumer failed to stop at a stop sign and was hit by a car traveling westbound.
Baumer showed signs of impairment and was given a field sobriety test.
Baumer was arrested for operating while intoxicated 7th offense, open intoxicants in the vehicle and operating without insurance. He is being held at the Rock County Jail pending an initial court appearance.
No injuries were reported.
