Resources for victims of domestic violence may need to be expanded. YWCA of Rock County Communications Director Jennifer Draz says their emergency shelter and transitional living program are often operating at capacity. Draz says signs of abuse may not be apparent. She says not all signs show clear injury. Symptoms can include a person appearing anxious around their partner or simply going along with everything their partner says and does. Draz says to shed more light on the issue, a candlelight vigil is planned from 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 29, at the Olde Towne Mall in Janesville.
