Republican State Representative Amy Loudenbeck of Clinton has a challenger in next year’s 31st Assembly District race. Democrat Elizabeth Lochner-Abel of Walworth worked as an English and reading teacher for 37-years. Lochner-Abel says she’s tired of all the partisanship at the capital. She believes her experience as a teacher and athletic coach has taught her how to communicate with all sorts of people, and will enable her to work across party lines. Her top issues include the environment, education, affordable healthcare, and maintaining the state’s infrastructure.
