A local non-profit’s efforts to help victims of domestic violence garners support from the Green Bay Packers Foundation. YWCA Rock County Communications Director Jennifer Draz says a seven-thousand dollar grant will support the Alternative s to Violence program. Draz says the Alternatives to Violence program includes the emergency domestic violence shelter, help-line, support groups, and legal advocacy. She says the grant will also allow they YWCA to further assist clients with ongoing family court cases, such as custody or divorce. The YWCA considers this an all encompassing program to help victims of domestic violence.
