A 40-year-old Beloit woman who’s accused of filming her roommate having sex and then posting the videos on social media takes a plea deal in Rock County Court.
Judge Karl Hansen accepted a no contest plea from Nicole Owens on a misdemeanor charge of publishing an intimate depiction of a person without consent and a felony charge of capturing an intimate representation without consent was dismissed but considered at sentencing.
Hanson sentenced Owens to 40 hours of community service and ordered her to pay an $800 fine.
