Multiple arrests following police chase in Beloit

Two adults and two juveniles are taken into custody Saturday after one individual reportedly used a gun to threaten group of people in Beloit.

Beloit Police say the incident was reported to happen just before 12:30 a.m. in the 900 block of Fourth Street.

19-year-old Alexa M. Torres of Beloit faces possible charges of fleeing and eluding police. 26-year-old Donta J. Evans Pounds of Beloit, faces possible charges of possession of cocaine with intent to deliver and possession of marijuana with intent to deliver.

A 15-year-old male from Beloit faces possible charges of fleeing and eluding police and recklessly endangering safety as well as traffic related charges. A 16-year-old male from Beloit faces possible charges of disorderly conduct, obstructing an officer and a curfew violation.

Police responded to the report and spotted the suspects’ vehicle near Fourth Street and Henry Avenue. The vehicle fled from officers, which resulted in a pursuit in Beloit and South Beloit. The vehicle came to a stop in South Beloit off of Highway 75 after the suspects smashed into a South Beloit squad car.
