The Rock County Anti-Human Trafficking Task Force is out with it’s annual report, and Vice Chair Carrie Wyatt is pleased the group has met or exceeded all its strategic goals. Wtyatt says outreach, presentation, and training has increased 48% over the last year, with more than 1500 people reached in the last two years. The report cites 90% of respondents had very little awareness of sex trafficking in Rock County and 93% agreed the presentations or training were beneficial. The group may also be making a name for itself. She says states like Illinois have asked for help in developing a similar task force. Remarkably, the group only began its formal public outreach two years ago.
