Incumbents in all three races on Rock County ballots stave off competition in the primary election.

Judge Daniel Kelly won the state supreme court justice primary statewide, but in Rock County, challenger Jill Karofsky received more votes. Ed Fallone finished in third and was eliminated from the race.

Edgerton Mayor Christopher Lund earned more votes than his two opponents combined, and former police chief Tom Klubertanz finished second with a narrow victory over former mayor Matt McIntyre, who will not advance after receiving just 36 votes short of second place.

In the Milton School Board race, Chuck Jackson is out of the race after receiving the fewest votes. Mike Hoffman took first, and incumbent Karen Hall was fourth out of the four candidates to advance.

The campaigns will continue to the April 7 election, which will include Wisconsin’s presidential preference vote.
