Local libraries are promoting use of their online content while residents find themselves stuck at home.
Hedberg Public Library Director Bryan McCormick in Janesville says since curbside delivery needed to be suspended, temporary library cards are being made available online.
McCormick expects these downloadable and streaming services to become very popular.
He adds staff is still answering questions by phone, or helping where they can, like at the city clerk’s office with absentee balloting.
As for the kids, he suggests fun and engaging virtual programming on the library’s social media sites.
