Rock County is up to four COVID-19 outbreaks in companies that care for seniors.

On Wednesday, both Evansville Manor and Home Instead Senior Care in Janesville announced positive tests for coronavirus in their businesses.

Evansville Manor said it was notified on April 23 that a resident tested positive for the disease, and that patient is now being in an isolation unit and a different long-term care facility, which was not specified.

The senior home said it has no other known cases of COVID-19 remaining in its facility, and the company is continuing to screen and monitor employees daily at the door.

Home Instead Senior Care in Janesville saw three employees test positive, but it did not specify how recently the results came in.

Two of those workers have recovered, while the third is still experiencing “mild” symptoms. Home Instead said the affected employees will still be paid while they are quarantined at home.

Earlier this month, Oak Park Place and St. Elizabeth nursing home in Janesville reported positive COVID-19 cases in their facilities.
