The Tour of American’s Dairyland will not be cycling through downtown Janesville for the Town Square Gran Prix bike race this summer. Tour officials say they’ve made the difficult decision to postpone the 12th edition of the ten-day race until June 17th of next year. Tour Executive Director Bill Koch says while Wisconsin has slowly started to re-open, determining how best to keep the sponsors, racers, staff, and fans safe from COVID-19 remains incredibly uncertain. Last year, more than 100,000 spectators attended the series which featured more than 5,000 entries from nearly 1,000. About 70 percent came from outside of Wisconsin including 15 countries.
