The Rock County Historical Society board of directors is considering how best to offer events while keeping participants safe. Director Tim Maahs says after much considering, the board has decided to cancel the Tallman Arts Festival. Maahs says this is the first time something like this has happened in the event’s more than sixty year history. He says the board is considering offering artists individualized events to safely display their creations. The historical society is still planning many of its autumn events including the Farm to Table Dinner, Cemetary Tours, and Murder Mystery Parties, but admits health restrictions will likely be necessary.
