Additional free COVID-19 testing will be available next week in surrounding counties.
In Illinois, mobile testing sites will start opening in Winnebago County on Monday, with locations in Rockton, Rockford and South Beloit.
Rockton’s testing will only be available Monday at the D’Agnolo Garden Apartments on Kocher Street from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Testing in South Beloit will run next Thursday and Friday at South Beloit High School during the same time windows.
To the north in Jefferson County, free drive-thru COVID testing will be available Wednesday through Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Fair Park in Jefferson.
Jefferson County Health officials are asking the public to register in advance online.
