The Wisconsin Economic Development Association has named Senator Janis Ringhand of Evansville as a “Champion of Economic Development”. The Democrat says experience, dating back to her days on the city council, help her appreciate the benefits of economic development. In acknowledging Ringhand, WEDA points directly to her work in helping establish Opportunity Zones and supporting transportation improvements.
