Another Janesville school is moving to online instruction due to concerns over COVID-19.

According to a news release the district is unable to fully staff Adams Elementary School for face-to-face instruction due to a number of staff being quarantined after being identified as a close contact of other individuals who have tested positive for COVID-19.

As a result Adams will close at the end of the day Monday and will remain closed through Friday, October 9th.

Students will pivot to online instruction starting Wednesday.

Roosevelt Elementary and Craig High Schools closed and moved to virtual instruction on September 14th and are scheduled to reopen October 5th.

Starting October 7th Janesville’s two high schools are moving to an A-B schedule where students will only attend classes in person every other day.

Beloit Schools have been virtual for the entire first semester and are currently scheduled to go back to in-person after the November election.
