Rock County is apparently seeing the worst of the COVID-19 pandemic right now.
Rock County Public Health Department Epidemiologist Nick Zupan says over 500 positive cases have been reported in the last seven days.
Zupan says the people who are testing positive are also having more severe symptoms with hospitalizations due to Coronavirus up from about eight to 11 patients in September to 20 to 30 patients now.
Zupan says citizens need to stay vigilant about wearing masks, maintaining social distance, and avoiding large gatherings.
