This year’s Black Women in Business Expo aims feed your mind, body and soul.

Organizer Vickie Lynn said the third-annual event is now up to 48 local vendors, which required a bigger venue and a move to the Eclipse Center in Beloit.

The pop-up shops hopes to recognize the role of Black women in Black History Month with what Lynn and others call Black “Her-story”

Businesses from the greater stateline area will have everything from food, clothing, jewelry, beauty products, gift baskets, art work, authors, tax services and even a church.

Lynn said the event won’t have its typical fanfare because of the pandemic, but she still wanted to hold some form of the expo to support local business owners.

The expo runs from Noon to 5:00 p.m. Saturday, with masks and social distancing required.
