A Beloit woman will serve prison time for a stabbing and hit-and-run in rural Rock County.

22-year-old Alondra Gallardo pleaded guilty to first-degree recklessly endangering safety and hit-and-run causing injury.

As part of a plea agreement, Rock County Judge John Wood dismissed a charge of attempted first-degree intentional homicide.

Gallardo was accused of running over a man with a vehicle before stabbing another man in the face and neck multiple times in the Town of Newark last April.

Her attorney Josh Klaff indicated that she knew both of the victims and that drugs and alcohol were involved in the incident.

Judge Wood followed a joint recommendation from the attorneys and sentenced her to two years in prison followed by three years of extended supervision.
