A person of interest in a Town of Center death investigation is incarcerated at the Rock County Jail.
The Rock County Sheriff’s Office provided a brief update on the situation Friday, noting that the unidentified person is being held on unrelated charges.
Authorities have not called the person a suspect and have not identified the victim in the case.
An elderly woman was found dead Monday morning in what police call “a complex violent death investigation.”
The person of interest and the victim are related to each other, and the sheriff’s office says there is no ongoing threat to the community.
