Two Janesville men are on a 1300 mile bicycle ride around Lake Michigan to benefit HealthNet of Rock County. 64-year-old Dan Duesterbeck and 60-year-old Tom Merker left Monday and plan to be on the road for three weeks. The pair say they want to highlight what HealthNet means to the community, and help raise a little money for the free clinic in the process. The adventure is being chronicled daily on both HealthNet of Rock County’s Facebook Page and the Duesterbeck Brewery’s Website.
