News Reporter/Anchor – WCLO/Big Radio – Janesville, WI
Big Radio – Janesville is seeking a news enthusiast who still values and exhibits journalistic integrity to join our respected news team. You’ll work alongside four additional seasoned broadcast professionals to continue Big Radio’s tradition of local news and information delivery. You will be ready and prepared to present important stories via live stream as well as updating news for our group when significant events occur, regardless of time of day.
Qualified candidates should have an education in (or exhibit great understanding of) the basic tenets of news writing and editing, journalism and investigative skills, copyright, and delivery of content in both audio (on-air) and print (web) forms. Preference will be given to candidates with prior on-air experience or those who can exhibit news delivery skills with their application.
This position has the potential to advance to News Director depending on qualifications and experience after one year.
