The School District of Milton holds a special event this week to celebrate a high school graduate. John Boie was part of the Gold Medal Men’s Wheelchair Basketball team that competed in Tokyo at the last ParaOlympics and a 2009 high school graduate. High School’s Activities Director Jeff Spiwack says as they work through post COVID stuff, getting the community together and celebrating one of their own goes a long way. “John Boie Night” will be celebrated on Friday at the boys basketball game versus DeForest.
