Beloit’s Roy Chapman Andrews Society looks to honor a University of Alberta paleontology professor.
Roy Chapman Andrews Society President Steve Vavrus says members of the public are invited to the award presentation for Dr. Philip Currie on April 29th at 4:30 p.m. at the Beloit Public Library.
A $2,500 Community Impact Grant from the Stateline Community Foundation will help support the event.
To celebrate the 100th anniversary of Andrew’s first of five expeditions, a visual history exhibit will be on display at the Beloit Public Library.
