Bug Tussel Wireless recieves $2 million grant to expand broadband in rural Rock County

Bug Tussel Wireless receives a $2 million grant from the State Public Service Commission to build a 114.5-mile fiber ring in Rock County, connecting 151 business and 2,871 residential locations.

President and CEO Steve Schneider says it’s part of a comprehensive plan to get broadband throughout all of Rock County including the rural areas.

Schneider says it will also improve the reliability of the network.

Schneider says part of the project is making sure that prices are highly affordable.
