The Beloit City Council officially kicks off the hunt for a new City Manager.

At a special meeting this week the council directed city staff to prepare a request for proposals for executive recruitment services.

The council plans to review the draft RFP at their regular meeting on July 5th.

City Council President Regina Dunkin says the council welcomes public input in this important process and will keep residents informed of those opportunities along the way.

City Attorney and Deputy City Manager Elizabeth Krueger will act as interim City Manager following Lori Curtis-Luther’s departure in August.
