Janesville City Manager mark Freitag appears to be moving on to a new job out west.
According to a news release on the City of Westminster, Colorado’s website, Freitag has been selected as the finalist for the City Manager position there.
The Westminster City Council is expected to vote on Freitag’s employment contract at their meeting August 22nd.
Freitag was been the City Manager in Janesville since December of 2013.
On Monday night the Janesville City Council met in closed session to discuss the employment, promotion, compensation, or performance of a public employee – specifically the city manager.
