The Rock County Board of Supervisors is seeking applicants to fill the District 22 vacancy formerly represented by Karla Herrmann.
District 12 includes the City of Janesville Wards 32, 33 and 36, and Town of Harmony Wards 1 and 2.
County Board Chair Rich Bostwick says State Statutes provide that the County Board Chair, with the confirmation of the County Board, is to appoint a person who is a qualified elector and resident of the Supervisory District to fill the vacancy. The person appointed will serve the unexpired term until the April 2024 election.
Bostwick asks that individuals interested in being considered for appointment submit their interest through a newly created online portal on the Rock County website.
The deadline for submittal is 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 4th.
