Weather in Wisconsin can sometimes make getting a pilot license for students difficult, but a new simulator at Revv Aviation in Janesville is hoping to make things easier.

Marketing Director Rod Kelly says they have a new Redbird FMX full motion simulator which will mimic the movements of in air flight to give students the chance to work towards their license on the ground.

Kelly says students typically need 40 hours of flight time to achieve their license, but they can earn 2.5 hours towards that on a simulator.

Kelly says the simulator training offers a cheaper alternative to in air training for students, with price points between $80 and $150 as opposed to spending more than $200 up in the air.

People can reserve time on the simulator by calling Revv Aviation.
