Beloit will once again hold their annual Memorial Day parade to honor those who have fallen.

Parade Marshall Michael Bendickson says the parade will start in South Beloit and continue along Blackhawk Boulevard eventually turning right onto East Grande Ave and ending at Horace White Park.

Director of Strategic Communications Sarah Lock says safety is a priority, so the city is partnering with South Beloit for enhanced safety and security along the parade route.

Lock says in addition to the parade route being closed to traffic, Bushnell Street will be closed to traffic near Horace White Park for bus parking.

Lineups for the parade start Monday at 8am, with the parade kicking off at 9am.
