Bach, Cello and Painting

“Bach Suites for Cello: A Relational Performance Aural and Visual.” This is a collaboration between music professor Benjamin Whitcomb, cellist and lecturer Bethann Moran Handzlik, painter. Whitcomb will perform the Bach Suites for Cello and Moran Handzlik will respond to the music by painting. This allows for both a musical and visual interpretation of the Bach Cello Suite.

The second collaborative called “Bach Suites for Cello: A Relational Performance Aural and Visual” will be performed in the Nature Preserve, next to Perkins stadium that runs along West Schwager Drive and Fremont Road, September 22, 2020 with a rain date on September 24, 2020.
