The media and public are invited to join in this special event\, sponsored by TDS\, that helps raise money for the American Cancer Society and will also honor area super volunteer Tammy Brown. Tammy’s list of volunteer work is extensive and includes donating her to various church and community activities\, teaching Junior Achievement\, being the Chief Election Inspector for Janesville\, and the countless hours she spends advocating for cancer survivors like herself and raising money for the American Cancer Society—including at Jets home games. Tammy’s smiling face can usually be found volunteering behind the bar with her tips benefiting the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life\, but this week she’ll be on the ice. Tammy will be the ceremonial puck dropper at 7:05 p.m. The TDS/American Cancer Society night will also include special fundraisers\, giveaways and prizes\, and TDS will also be presenting a $1\,500 check to the American Cancer Society.

It also aims to spark creativity and hands-on learning through the design and construction of farm scene dioramas\, as well as the customization of farm toys of all types\, sizes\, and brands. \nThis year\, we’re excited to feature approximately 30 vendors offering a wide range of farm toys\, diorama supplies\, customizing tools\, and craft materials. The show will be held at the Holiday Inn Express in Janesville\, WI\, conveniently located across from the TA truck stop. \nAs part of our commitment to supporting the community\, we’re partnering with ECHO of Janesville for a food drive. Attendees who bring three non-perishable food items will receive free entry to the event. Additionally\, a portion of the proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to ECHO\, helping to support their important work in the Janesville community. \nWe will have Santa visiting from 9am – 12pm on Sunday December 8th for kids to come and visit in the entry area in front of the ballroom where the event is being held. \nWe are also working with Backyard Barbeque\, a local Janesville business\, who will be providing food for both days of the event.
