The Albertson Memorial Library is excited to “Unearth a Story” during our Summer Library Program on July 7th. Get ready to dive into a world of stories, crafts, and dino-mite activities all about the mighty Megalodon. (The Megalodon is extinct species of giant mackerel shark that lived from the early Miocene to the early Pliocene epochs and was most commonly found in oceans with subtropical to temperate latitudes.)
We will be offering three sessions:
• A 10-11 a.m. session, recommended for children pre-k through kindergarten.
• A 1-2 p.m. session, recommended for children 1st grade and up.
We recognize that families may have children in both age groups, so please feel free to attend just one of these sessions with all your children. Keep in mind that each session is tailored to that specific age group, so the activities and information may vary in complexity based on the session you choose.
• All ages are welcome back at 6:30 p.m. for a family movie night.
