Local school super calls it quits early

3162401Clinton Community School District Administrator Randy Refsland has seen a lot of changes during his 35-years in education. Many he says have occurred over his six years in Clinton. That time is coming to an end though. Refsland, who announced last year he’d retire after this school year, is now planning to retire October 31st. He says educators have become the punching bags for politicians, and fewer and fewer people are going into the profession. The school board hopes to get an interim district administraotr on board quickly, while looking for a permanent replacement.
