Janesville police are working to identify a body found on the bike trail. Officers say a high school student walking home Thursday afternoon found the body of a middle-to-older age man on the Ice Age portion of the trail near Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center. The preliminary investigation reveals no obvious signs of trauma. Police are quick to point out public safety is likely not at risk. An autopsy is planned today.
